Caprice White  studied photography at Emily Carr University.  in 2005 after a 10 year hiatus she picked up her camera and began shooting and documenting the ever changing urban landscapes the Pacific Northwest and Major North American Urban Centres.  

 

In 2009 Caprice returned as alumni to Emily Carr University to study digital medium.  This enabled her to focus on projects that would futher refine her craft.

 

Her body of work  includes very candid photos of friends, adversaries, strangers,  frequently mixed with urban landscapes and  the tortured  beauty she finds in everyday objects. 



Caprice's work has appeared in  BCLDB Grapevine publications, Scout , War Amps ,  CBC Radio 3 Listener's lens, Canadian Guider, Chatelaine,  Piranha Gallery,  Hand eye Supply,  album covers, and at the Hot Art Wet City Gallery. 

 

2009 - / 2014 group  and solo shows include Victoria Vintage Fair, Clam Central, Accumulator, Hot One Inch Action,  ACCURATE!!!! , F.U.C.K, The Big Lebowski, More is Never Enough.  Upcoming 2015 / 2016  solo and group shows to be announced.

​​Caprice who calls Vancouver home, is frequently spotted  travelling,  camera in hand,  and lost in the moment.
